What is it and how does it work?

Dermaplaning requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz) giving you an “airbrushed” appearance. We’ve started providing Dermaplaning treatments as it’s a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure when undertaken by a professional. Dermaplaning removes vellus hair (peach fuzz) and does not abrade the skin.

Dermaplaning helps your daily skincare products penetrate the skin deeper and your makeup look smoother. This treatment is suitable for most, however if you suffer with acne (or are receiving treatment), have dermatitis on the face, taking blood thinning medication, receiving cancer treatment, or are allergic to metals, Dermaplaning would not be a suitable treatment for you.
