How does waxing work?
Hot wax is so called as it is around 37C when applied to the skin, which is the same as body temperature. It is the new generation of waxes and is not recycled nor applied in a figure of eight. Hot wax is applied in strips and ‘flicked’ at one end then pulled off. As the wax cools it becomes like plastic due to the synthetic resins they contain. Hot wax does not require any paper/cloth strips.
Top Tip!
Exfoliate prior to your appointment to prevent ingrowing hairs. If you feel that you have very sensitive skin, please arrange a patch test 48 hours prior to treatment.
